Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: May 2026

These Subscription Terms and Conditions govern the purchase and use of paid “Premium” subscriptions to New Energy Weekly, which is a publication of Business Daily Group Ltd. (“we”, “our”, “us”). By purchasing a subscription, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Subscription Services

New Energy Weekly provides access to premium news, analysis, reports, insights and other subscriber-only content through its website and associated digital platforms.

Access to subscription content is granted solely to the registered subscriber and may not be shared, transferred or distributed without our prior written consent.

2. Subscription Plans

Subscription plans, pricing and features are displayed on our website and may be updated from time to time.

By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable subscription fees associated with your selected plan.

3. Recurring Payments

All monthly subscriptions are charged on a recurring basis.

By subscribing, you authorise New Energy Weekly and its payment processing providers to automatically collect subscription fees using your chosen payment method at the beginning of each billing period. Payment will be taken via Stripe or Paypal, dependent on your choice. For card payments, Stripe securely processes payment.

Subscription fees will continue to be charged automatically unless and until your subscription is cancelled.

4. Cancellation

Subscribers may cancel their subscription at any time through their account settings on the New Energy Weekly website.

Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to subscription content until the expiry of the period for which payment has already been made.

No further recurring payments will be taken following cancellation.

5. Refund Policy

Except where required by applicable law, all subscription payments are non-refundable.

Once a subscription payment has been successfully processed, no refunds, credits or partial refunds will be provided for:

  • Unused subscription periods;
  • Partial months of service;
  • Failure to cancel before a renewal date;
  • Changes in personal circumstances;
  • Dissatisfaction with content or usage levels.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.

6. Free Trials and Promotional Offers

Where free trials or promotional offers are made available, additional terms may apply and will be communicated at the time of registration.

Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of any promotional period.

7. Changes to Subscription Fees

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time.

Where pricing changes affect existing subscribers, reasonable notice will be provided before any new charges take effect.

Continued use of the subscription service after such changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised pricing.

8. Account Security

Subscribers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.

You must notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where unauthorised sharing, misuse or fraudulent activity is suspected.

9. Intellectual Property

All content published by New Energy Weekly, including articles, reports, analysis, graphics, data and other materials, remains our intellectual property.

Subscribers may access content for their own internal business or personal use but may not reproduce, distribute, republish or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent.

10. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate subscriptions where:

  • Subscription fees remain unpaid;
  • These terms are breached;
  • Fraudulent or unlawful activity is suspected; or
  • Continued access would adversely affect our business or other users.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, New Energy Weekly shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or business losses arising from the use of the subscription service or reliance upon any content provided.

Our total liability in connection with any subscription shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by the subscriber during the preceding twelve months.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under English law.

12. Governing Law

These Subscription Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
